Getting the most from Margo

How to add a product or service in Margo

If your business offers specific products or services, you can add each one individually in Margo.

This allows Margo to go deeper, building tailored messaging, customer profiles, and competitor insights for that specific offering.

(If you’re looking to group multiple offerings together, you can do this by creating a portfolio in a separate section.)

Adding a product or service is quick and straightforward.


1. Head to your Margo dashboard

Log into your Margo account and head to your Dashboard.


2. Select ‘Add a product’

Click + Add a product and tell Margo about the product.

You’ll be asked whether the product or service already has a landing page:

If it has a landing page or website

  • Select “Yes, it has a website or landing page”
  • Add your landing page URL

If you don’t have a landing page or website yet

  • Select “No, it doesn’t have a website or landing page yet”
  • Answer a few simple questions about your product or service

No pressure here — you can:

  • Keep it short
  • Use bullet points
  • Add rough notes

The more you share, the better Margo can support you, but even a little is enough to get started.


3. Let Margo do her thing

Once you’re done, Margo gets to work.

  • She’ll start building out the product dashboard
  • You’ll get an email when everything’s ready
